Emese Hegedus is a classically trained violinist and vocalist based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She studied at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Bachelor of Music in Violin, as well as at Queen's University, obtaining a Bachelor of Education specializing in the Arts. She has performed at Carnegie Hall with the New York Oratorio Society, St. Patrick's Cathedral in Manhattan, New York and Stanford Memorial Church in Palo Alto, California, as well as with the Amadeus Choir in Toronto, Ontario. Emese is also a trained pianist and was the recipient of the Kenneth Barwell Scholarship from the Royal Canadian College of Organists, which allowed her to pursue organ studies.
Emese has over 10 years of performance experience as a violinist, pianist and vocalist, playing and singing in over 150 weddings and special events. In addition, she has been actively involved in teaching students in the Toronto area.
Emese is available for hire for weddings, parties, conventions, funerals and other special events. Different musical ensembles are available upon request, including duets, trios and quartets, as well as vocal ensembles. For further details, please contact her at [email protected].
With a strong foundation in music education, Emese has taught numerous students in the Toronto area, including both children and adults. Her experience extends from private lessons to conducting chamber and choral ensembles. Emese is currently working towards completing her Suzuki method certification.
